On Thursday 27th November at the Broadcast Technology Awards 2025, London, Elliott Media proudly joined its partners at AWS, Thomson Reuters and the Parliamentary Broadcasting Unit in accepting the award for, “Best Innovative Use of Cloud”.
Many months in the making, the award was given for the group’s demonstration of their Next-Generation News Distribution Powered by TAMS (time addressable media store) on AWS, a world first, unveiled at IBC 2025, in Sept.
Parliamentary content was showcased on the AWS stand, and seamlessly federated across the time addressable media stores of Elliott Media, Reuters and AWS, for use within each broadcast workflow.
The judge’s commented, “A total game changer for the industry, a uniquely collaborative effort and a fine example of how great the industry can be when it comes together.”
James Elliott, MD and Broadcast Technology Consultant at Elliott Media, who provided the implementation for UK Parliament, commented, “I’m glad to have been able to showcase the Parliamentary Broadcasting Unit’s coverage, and to illustrate to the rest of the industry their forward-facing services and technologies we help to design and implement.”
James continued, “It’s been a pleasure to be part of the talented team of collaborators who made it all happen.”
